Mountain Dog Fine Arts is our home studio and workshop located in New Hampshire's rugged White Mountains.

I've always loved to draw and paint dogs.  Born at the San Diego Naval Hospital, raised in  New England,  I cultivated my interests in art and animals through childhood.

From 1980 through the 1990's I exhibited paintings of animals and birds throughout New England in both one-person and juried group shows.  My work has hung at the Currier Gallery and The Fuller Museum and is represented in private collections across the United States and Europe.

For the last several years I've drawn daily inspiration from our familiy's exhuberent pack of dogs.  My focus  remains centered, as it was when I was a child,  on creating art that celebrates the beauty and illuminates the heart and soul of our treasured canine companions.

I welcome all inquiries for commissioned Folk art canine portraits and look forward to creating for you a one of a kind, lasting memory of your beloved dog.
